Sierra Leone’s strongman scene got a boost recently as Osman Koroma, the country’s Strongest Man, met with Thomas Daddy Brima, the President of the Sierra Leone Football Association.

Koroma, also known as Kosombo, represented Sierra Leone at the 2024 World’s Strongest Man Championship held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. He achieved an impressive 5th place finish out of 15 competing countries.

Brima expressed his delight at meeting Koroma and commended him and his coach for their dedication and the success they achieved.

Koroma responded by expressing gratitude for the opportunity to compete on the global stage. He also extended his appreciation to President Brima for sponsoring his airfare to the Championship, highlighting the important role of such support in achieving his success.
