ASP Dr. Konteh, Deputy Head of the Sierra Leone Police Hospital, has launched a medical supply distribution exercise to improve the health conditions of police personnel across the country.
Led by ASP Dr. John Mumuneh, the initiative aims to equip police health centers with essential medical supplies, ensuring officers can perform their duties effectively.
Medical supplies have already been delivered to the Jui Police Health Centre and the Sierra Leone Peacekeeping and Law Enforcement Academy (SILEA). Dr. Konteh is set to visit Lungi today for further distributions, with plans to extend the initiative to other provinces in the coming days.
This effort aligns with Inspector General Fayia Sellu’s commitment to prioritizing police personnel’s health and well-being, particularly in the first quarter of the year. The initiative underscores the Sierra Leone Police (SLP)’s dedication to enhancing the overall performance and productivity of its officers.
Ensuring access to essential healthcare resources is a crucial step in supporting police personnel and enabling them to fulfill their responsibilities efficiently. The initiative is also expected to boost morale among officers, who play a vital role in maintaining law and order in the country.
By strengthening healthcare support for police personnel, this effort reaffirms the SLP’s commitment to the well-being of its members and their ability to carry out their duties effectively.
Good move Sir thanks
