Sierra Leone’s Minister of Communication Technology And Innovation, Salima Monorma Bah on Monday visited Creative Hub Africa (CHA) at its Freetown Road location, gaining firsthand insight into the work of Sierra Leonean entrepreneurs and innovators.
The visit, conducted at the hub situated opposite the Lumley Police Station on Spur Road, highlighted CHA’s crucial role in fostering creativity and supporting local businesses.
Minister Bah was warmly welcomed by CHA’s CEO, Miss Isatu Harrison, and a group of entrepreneurs who showcased their diverse business ventures. During the visit, the Minister learned about CHA’s efforts to provide essential resources, mentorship, and funding, particularly to women, thereby contributing to the growth of Sierra Leone’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Minister Bah expressed her admiration for CHA’s work, emphasizing its role in developing future leaders and driving national progress.
“Creative Hub Africa is playing an important role in driving innovation and digital change. It’s great to see how they’re empowering women and making a difference in the community,” she stated.
