The Ministry of Finance has announced that Minister of Finance Sheku Ahmed Fantamadi Bangura will present the FY2026 Supplementary Government Budget and Statement of Economic and Financial Policies to Parliament on Friday, July 31, 2026.
According to a public notice issued by the Ministry on Monday, July 27, 2026, the presentation will take place in the Chamber of Parliament of the Republic of Sierra Leone at 10:00 a.m.
The Supplementary Budget is expected to highlight adjustments to government spending and outline updated economic and financial policies for the 2026 fiscal year.
The Ministry has invited a wide range of stakeholders to attend the presentation, including Vote Controllers, Heads of Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDAs), State-Owned Enterprises, representatives of development partners and institutions, non-governmental organisations, District Budget Oversight Committee members, local community representatives, non-state actors, civil society organisations, and members of the general public.
Attendees have been advised to be seated by 9:30 a.m. ahead of the commencement of proceedings.
