President of National Union of Students Presents Medal of Honour to ACC Commissioner
In a ceremony held at the Anti-Corruption Commissioner’s office, Rex Bonapha, President of the National Union of Sierra Leone Students (NUSS), along with his Executive, bestowed a prestigious Medal of Honour upon Francis Ben Kaifala, the Anti-Corruption Commissioner.
The accolade was in recognition of Kaifala’s outstanding leadership and dedication to his role as an Alumnus and as the Anti-Corruption Commissioner of Sierra Leone.
Expressing gratitude for the award, Commissioner Kaifala, a former Chief Justice of NUSS in 2005, remarked, “I am deeply honored by this recognition. With the assistance of the divine and in collaboration with fellow progressives, we are committed to enhancing Sierra Leone’s future for all current and former students.”
This event coincided with the official inauguration of NUSS’s new executive, led by Rex Bonapha, which took place on April 15, 2023, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Freetown.
The ceremony marked an important step forward in the union’s ongoing efforts to contribute to the advancement of Sierra Leone.
