The Minister of Basic and Senior Secondary Education (MBSSE), David Monina Sengeh, has provided insights into the decision of former Vice President Victor Bockarie Foh, who previously served under the administration of Earnest Koroma of the All People’s Congress (APC), to join the Sierra Leone People’s Party (SLPP) and express his support for President Bio.

In his statement, the minister made mentioned of key pointers to which he believed moved former VP Foh from the main opposition APC to the SLPP.

“The former VP of the APC is now a strong SLPP member. His Reasons? He believes in President Bio’s Free Quality School Education and how we’re delivering it. He believes in development and he’s finally come where he finds it” he stated.

The minister furthered that, there is a clear view for the SLPP to win the June Election based on what they have done for the people of Sierra Leone and that, the margin to which they will win the election matters the most as it may send a strong message of shift in politics in Sierra Leone positively.

“The question isn’t whether president bio will win the election or not. What we want to do is win by such a margin that we send a message that shifts politics in Sierra Leone. Leaders must know their people, invest in their people and care for the poor and rural! Vote Bio. Vote SLPP”. He maintained.
