Leone Stars forward Musa Tombo Kamara has denied circulating reports that his girlfriend, Memunatu Sow, popularly known as Memzo, has given birth, calling the claims completely false.

The denial follows viral social media posts suggesting that Sow had delivered a baby despite speculation among social media users that she had maintained a flat stomach for eight months. The post quickly gained traction, drawing likes, comments, and shares from fans of the well-known footballer.

Reactions were mixed, with some users expressing surprise and others offering congratulations. A number of commenters also made humorous or speculative remarks about the alleged childbirth.

Due to the potential for misinformation, fact-checking organization DUBAWA investigated the claim. When contacted by a researcher, Musa Tombo dismissed the story outright.

According to the footballer, the narrative circulating online misrepresents his personal life. DUBAWA also noted that had the couple actually welcomed a child, credible media houses would have reported on it given Tombo’s public profile — but no such reports exist.

The fact-checking organization concluded that the claim is false.

Tombo and Sow have been together for more than two years, following the footballer’s highly publicized separation from socialite and fashion entrepreneur Hawa Tombo, now known as Fefegula. Their relationship has since attracted significant online attention.

Tombo remains one of Sierra Leone’s most talked-about football personalities, known both for his performances on the pitch and controversies away from it. Once celebrated as one of the country’s most naturally gifted strikers, his career has faced repeated setbacks, including disciplinary issues and personal struggles.

A previous story had circulated online claiming the couple had welcomed a newborn baby girl, with congratulatory messages flooding social media platforms from fans and well-wishers. That report has now been debunked.
