The Defense Lawyers in the on-going alleged corruption case involving Samura Kamara and four others have demanded to cross- examine Prosecution Witness number 2, Joseph Bockarie Noah, after the locus visit by the team to the United States recently.

The chief inspector at the anti-corruption commission (ACC), Mr. Noah, is one of the prosecution witnesses who testified earlier in court.

The Defense lawyer for the first accused, Pa Momoh Fofanah in his statement informed the court that, Joseph Bockarie Noah was the investigator and he has pertinent issues they need to put to him in respect of his testimony in court, adding that, they may want to recall the three prosecution witnesses as well which include Idriss Kanu respectively.

He also asked the court, in the video recordings of the locus visit will be tendered in court as in evidence.

Justice Fisher asked the second, third, fourth and fifth accused lawyers, if they wish to recall prosecution witnesses for further cross-examination.

The Lawyers for the second, third, fourth and fifth accused informed the court that they wished to recall the second, third, seventh and eighteen prosecution witnesses, key among them is Ali Kabba former Foreign the video recordings of the locus Minister. Justice Fisher also visit will be tendered in court as in informed Counsels for the fourth (Samura Kamara) to file the necessary document stating the reasons why they want Ali Kabba to come and be cross-examined, and they should do so by Wednesday.

Justice Adrian Fisher asked the fourth accused why he was not present at the locus visit in New York, but Samura Kamara replied the learned judge he was unwell.

Lawyer Ade Macaulay, one of the Defense councils representing Samura Kamara said his client has maximum respect for the court, and his absence does not in any way says the contrary.

The Judge however maintained that what Kamara did was disrespectful to the court and is tantamount to contempt of court.

Notwithstanding such behaviours, he said the accused has been complying with the proceedings by coming to court at every adjourned date.
