Chief Minister David Moinina Sengeh, representing HE President Bio, has officially launched the $135 million Food Systems Resilience Program in partnership with the Ministry of Agriculture, the World Bank, and the Global Agricultural Food Security Program.

Chief Minister David Sengeh stated that over the course of five years, this program aims to directly impact approximately 1 million people, generating job opportunities, fostering new industries, and fortifying critical systems. He emphasized their commitment to delivering on President Bio’s Big 5 agenda.

Sengeh expressed confidence in the program’s ability to serve as a springboard for growth, stating, “#WeWillDeliver the #Big5GameChangers.”

This initiative signifies a determined stride towards elevating food security, enhancing livelihoods, and fortifying the nation’s agricultural resilience in the face of challenges.
